Linc, yeah I agree with you completely, the throttle feel on A123's is a bit of a drop off, like it's not proportional, more like a curve that drops off at the top end. Even 2p like you said doesn't compare with these... it would take a 7s5p A123 pack to match the voltage holding ability of this pack, crazy. Sure you can get alot of 'power' out of a M1 cell, but it's not real world usable, especially for this application.
Metalman, you used to have a 5s2p 7XL setup correct? Funny, same as what I used to use... however, it does have more power than my 1512/3D with a 7s2p pack, call me crazy, but it did, hands down I could wheelie at almost any speed. Must have been a good setup to use the "C rating" aspect of the A123 cells, rather than it's voltage holding ability.
I will be back later with a good moderate power run with the Eagletree, and if I feel like it, I might shoot a short adult film... of the truck of course.
