Heh, I thought about that myself before typing it. With better packs, they will hold their voltage better, so a lower LVC is fine, where as weaker packs will droop alot lower, so a higher LVC is needed to preserve them.

If you look at it differently though, a higher LVC would protect your $$$ lipos, but then you are reducing your runtime more than you really need to (decent batts wont be harmed so easily?). Depends if you want to handle good batts with kid gloves, and abuse cheap lipos 'cos they're easy to replace....
