The 30A have been working great for all my set-ups for a few years now. I've yet to see one get above ambient temperature even in high-amp set-ups. (E-Revo, 4s, 24/54 gearing for speed runs.) The only reason I'd ever go to 45A is because it'd be easier to fit larger gauge wires.
Another great advantage is that they're not gender specific. I use Dean's on my mini vehicles, and I often find myself with too many of one and not enough of the other, requiring and extra trip to the LHS. They also work great for series connections without needing Y-harnesses.
