John Crook (aka Johny Maxima) only managed 70.1mph with dual 7XLs on 5s lipo, where as the other guy did ~84mph with the 1521 1y on 6s lipo, so dual motors wont always be the best way to achieve insane speeds. The extra weight of dual motors and batts would weigh the truck down alot, and the dual motors turning a single spur could lead to potential stripping issues.

i thought about a 1521, i'd love to try one, but aren't the mounting holes spaced differently so you'd have to fabricate your own mount?
