Yeah, those Kokams are absolutely awesome. I thought the polyquest were good. In my TC4, a 3s 3100 was pretty good. The 3s 3200 kokam were slightly better. In my emaxx, the difference is even more noticeable due to fact that I'm pushing the pack a little more.
5s - kinda of an odd number... but that would work great with those motors for a 10 minute race. It's nice to know that geared for 35 mph, intermittent peaks are only at around 60-70 amps for 6s. With 5s geared for 35 mph, the peaks should be around 65-75 amps. That's well within the safety of those Kokam cells... plus you'll be using lighter weight tires.
The best part of these cells is that they give super high power AND give you decent run times! If you go 8s or 10s, you can probably race at 35 mph and run for 20 or 30 minute races with insane power!
