IMO those Losi combos will never get you to more than 40 and live to tell about it. There are a few guys running them at my track on their buggies. Now that they have grouped all 1/8th electric together I run my truggy against those buggies. They don't have the torque I have with my Neu and they get lousy run times, they have said the most they can run for a main is 12min, where as I can run 15min main with my truggy. Yes I run 5s, they run 4s but my truggy is also about 2lbs heavier and a lot lore rotating mass, and I still can kick their a$$. I just need more practice.

If you want 70MPH your going to need a Neu, at least 1 1521 in the 1700kv range to be reliable and cool, 6s lipo capable of at least 150A continous discharge and a Mamba Monster esc is most likely your best bet.
