I've used regular 60/40 Rosin Core Solder on all kinds of cylindrical cells.
I use the Rosin Core .032 diameter that Radio Shack sells.
A good scuffing really helps things hold and the solder flow. It does take a really hot soldering iron though. A small iron won't work.

I appreciate your advice. I received the Zinc Core Solder and flux, and successfully built 2 - 4S Flightpower 3700mah 25C Packs from the one huge 8S pack.
Just ran them in the Revo yesterday and am very happy. Got a great deal that time.
