1700kv is too low on 4S. for 4S i would go for about 2200. (and you get about same RPM as 1700kv on 5S)

higher kv does not mean higher speeds. you can go as fast with lower kv motor with more voltage and it will stay cooler.

i dont measure temps :) its warm, but nothing serious. about same temps as my old neu 1512.

actually i think motor was about 60C after 6 minute run on the track (outside temp was 30C)
