If I were you, I would send it back to castle as it's cheaper and the refurbished have no on/off-switch if I recall correctly.
But if I had the money and wanted a MMM (personally I prefer Schulze ESCs, but doesn't matter in this case), I would buy an additional refurbished MMM for the times when your main-ESC is broken and with CC for repair so I could still run my truck
