kershaw designs has a nice cheap slipper clutch upgrade. if your diffs go out, get the x style bulkheads as they allow for much easier access to the diffs. your tires most likely have 14mm hexes. if i were you, i would epoxy the hex nut into the wheel BEFORE it strips and it should be fine. if you still have the stock metal rollbar, the x style rollbar would be better for bashing. if you end up upgrading to lipos, i suggest checking out hobbycity. their flightmax and turnigy batteries use the exact same cells. all the batteries they are are generally true to their ratings. i recommend the 2s 5000mah 20c turnigy packs for your setup. the best part is, they are only $20 each. you will notice a huge boost in performance. i have the turnigy 6s charger and it was the best rc-related $40 i have spent. it is very good for charging any type of battery. i even charged up a 1/1 car battery with it.

if you want more power or your motor burns up, i recommend the CC/NEU motor. it is a little pricey, but it is the best value for a motor at the moment. i use $45 KB motors, but i had to have kershawdesigns make me a custom mount for them as they are much bigger than most motors.
if you end up needing a new esc, nitrorcx.com has the EZrun 80a (highly underrated) 4s esc for only $50. they also have the EZrun 150a 6s esc for $100. i got the 150a for my savage.

hope this helps.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
