Nice, I have a 3 day race weekend this coming this fri, sat, and MAIN on sunday, and I am the only conversion as well, the rest are hardcore nitro-heads.

As far as regs on 1/8 electric truggies, I don't think there are any... there is no cell limit, as there are far too many combos out there, with varying Kv. ratings, and motor sizes, it would be silly to even think of a rule based on cell limits. There is no motor size limits, again, the ROAR ppl don't know 2 cents about BL.

Since you haven't raced much before, just keep the throttle steady, no full throttle blurps, only in the straight, but even then you have to ease on the throttle as you power down the straight (if you have one). Always take the full triple or quad jump (if you are skilled enough) saves alot of time. Also, if there are wash boards, take them slow, never letting your tires leave the ground... trust me, don't try and power through them, it might be slower, but on average it IS faster, as most ppl who try and power through, will crash every few laps and loose alot more time upside down.
