If it mounts right up, why not? My system is probably 1300-1500w, so keep that in mind. I wouldn't expect speeds over 20mph with that though. Maybe 15-18mph. I would try to find a higher power system or use an rc system like I did.

My motor cost $55 and my controller cost under $30. A servo tester costs $5-10 and a pinion is cheap at mcmaster carr; probably $2.50.
