If you want to get two power supplies, why wouldn't you just get a 12v lead acid battery. I went from using a 250watt chargery psu to a 12v batt actively being charged at the same time, and has been trouble free ever since. The power supply used to dip in voltage to much, or hiccup, or some other power instability issue, causing the Hyperion charger to reset.

Then you can even charge batteries a few times while out in the boonies where there is no power... it's nice to have. You could even find a second hand starter battery that would do the job for cheap.
