+1 on the heatsink too, make sure ur drivetrain is smooth ie no binding, cut some holes in your body one in the front and one behind the motor, gotta have air flowing cross that motor, screw the fan!!! a proper setup should run cool ie 100-140F on the motor, if you have a MMM don't worry bout temps the fan takes care of it if it gets too 150F(which it shouldn't with a proper setup), depending on your C rating on the batts should be ambient temp to 120, i live in oklahoma with 90% humidity and 100F ambient temps and my motor runs about 140F, esc 120F n batts 120F, of course its a little zippy 5Ah 25/35C, my True RC 8Ah 10C runs bout the same temp, don't let ur packs get over 130F, if they do don't freak out but if they puff then short circuit the pack and post a vid!!!
