If you want a lot more image editing functions (like resizing, contrast, etc), use a real graphics program. I use PaintShop Pro (poor man's Photoshop), but you can download GIMP for free, and it is pretty good. There is a learning curve though (at least there was the last time I tried it).

I agree that PB is not the best quality, but for what a lot of us do here it works
