there are brownish-black spots on 2 of the 3 caps. this is the only esc i have ever seen that has caps that are in a space like that. it would be very hard to replace caps like that. |
Is the brown stuff on the caps leaking from the slits on the top,(can't really tell.) If it is and usually a cap electrolytic will pooch out at the top or start to seperate from the bottom, or just leak.
Adding the caps to the input isn't going to help if that is the case you will need to replace the 3 mounted to the board, Shouldn't really be that hard. Each cap is in parallel with each phase not the input. The Mamba Max is setup just like that. I'll give you $10 for it.
