I don't see why they need to recommend the 2650kV motor to reach higher speeds. Why not just run the 2200kV on 6s and gear taller. The 2200kV on 6s should have more than enough power to push a relatively light (relative to a truggy or MT) buggy to insane speeds without consuming as much current or spin at catastrophic rpms. Unless their motor mount doesn't allow for a larger tooth count pinion and you're limited to pinion size.
