IDk, it can happen to the best of them. MY 1515 had its rotor seperate only after a few hrs of use. OTOH, it was easy and cheap to send to Neu, they fixed it for free and I had i back in two weeks. HArd to beat that service.
That Lehner would have been awesome, but a 1527 is not that much more than the BIN of $225 that the 2250 went for. However, if something ever did go wrong, the price diff would get eaten up quickly. I have a LMT 1920 that failed a yr ago I have to send back. Between customs, expensive shipping and no guarantees on the repair costs, I am having a hard time spending $20 to ship it to Ger just to find it needs $70 worth of repair. F' it, the medusa I replaced it with cost less than that. ('course they are out of business too now..... :( )
