I am actually thinking of going for a 6S setup on the T8 1350kv truggy motor... looking at the Turnigy 6S1P 30C 5k packs - but i'll run 2 of them - one on either side of the truck wired in parallel for 10,000mah, and should make 30 minute mains with the nitro classes - that way, i can even race at other 'busier' and more 'serious' tracks maybe? (the track i started racing at is pretty casual)
I'm gonna keep it on 4S and will run the RX8/T8 2000kv truggy combo till i can save money for the batteries tho (probably be a while -lol-), and will swap out this truggy combo and throw it in the buggy when i make the switch to 6S in the truggy... i wonder if the longer truggy motor in the buggy will be better than a buggy motor runtime wise, as it should have a bit more balls and run more efficient right?? Or is it not that much of a difference? i dunno - we'll see in a few months i guess -lol-
Not much else to report - been busy the last week, but will get round to it this week or weekend probably =)
