It will stop, the lvc will cut the power to the motor. You will notice slight loss of power before you hit the lvc, I am used to this and stop when I notice this, usually only get another 30sec before the lvc kicks in.
80% depth of discharge (DOD) is about the best place to stop to get max life. Most airplane guys set timers to accomplish this, after a little testing, of course.
