I have a couple hw setups, and a couple mmm setups. For a crawling aspect the mmm is def smoother from get go, and would be much more suited for low speed crawling. The hw isn't really coggy, it is more less "jumpy" getting started, or trying to hold it at a steady slow speed, it just kind of pulses. I've never had a tekin so can't comment on that one. I have a summit as well, and honestly, I have just left it alone. It breaks as it is bone stock, so I could only imagine cartwheeling it at 50 or so, there is just too much gadgetry and it's just not really made for it. The long travel suspension and tires, (the talons would probably help) I just can't see doing it with that truck. If you are dead set on brushless, I'd pic up a mmm, and try to find a used medusa 1600 or something.
