Yep. I was surprised as well.
My latest re-powering was a Little Tykes train. It came with like 40ft of track and a Engine and a caboose. It was powered by a single 550 motor on a 6v battery with a simple mechanical speed control, on/off throttle. I just soldered in a new motor and cleaned the tabs on the MSC and she ran great again. Cost me a whole $0 since I have a bunch of 550's laying around. I decided to try a 3s lipo as well. It start spinning wheels on the tracks with my nephew on it.
