I just got a response back from RPM after I sent them an email about this and gave them a link to my posting and pictures. Heres the reply
According to that post, you are the only person to mention having that many issues with your Savage arms. Additionally, you are the only person to ever e-mail us with an issue with our Savage arms and the Flux. Those a-arms were originally designed to fit the Savage and Savage-X. If they aren't fitting the Savage Flux that well, it is most likely because HPI may have tightened their tolerances on their newest truck. If you'll remember, the Savage and Savage-X trucks had a huge amount of slop built into the a-arms which badly needed shimming in order for them to work properly. We eliminated most of that slop. If HPI fixed the slop issue as well in the new truck, then that is why the bind issue you are seeing must be present. It is something we will look into and we appreciate you letting us know what you are seeing but as of right now, we haven't heard any other complaints so we'll need to determine if this is an isolated incident or if it somewhat prevalent in the Flux community. Based off of other posts I've read on other HPI message boards, it looks like the predominance of Flux owners with RPM arms aren't having issues like those you mentioned.
Take care and thank you for your interest and support of RPM products. If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to send us another e-mail.
So I dunno what to think at this point *shrug*
