i think i found a cheap solution for 1/5 conversions - 10.22.2009, 12:18 AM

that esc claims 12s at 200a constant. i think it will actually be powerful enough for the bigger, faster 1/5 conversions. just look at the caps and sheer size of this beast

$180 ain't a bad price either. i just paid $170 for a MMM today and i kinda wish i would've waited. i should have gotten this esc and run my savage on 12s. oh well.

my only concern is the "puny" 12awg wire on the motor side. it looks like it has 2 12awg wires wrapped together for the battery leads. well, i guess if you think about it, each motor lead sees ~50% less power than the battery leads.


They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
