Dont leave valuables on display- theres a big drive by the government at the moment trying to educate people leaving things like GPS units, laptops, bags/rucksacks and other items on display insiode their cars- anything that can be snatched basically, even if the car is locked & on your own driveway. CD players with removeable facias is a good thing, remove the faceplate & put it in the glove box, same too with the GPS unit etc, and hide any other large items in the trunk or under the seat where they cant be seen by theives walking past (looking for stuff to steal).
