Strengthening 3905 motorplate for brushless needed? -

Is strengthening the motorplate on a 3905 trans needed for a BL motor? It seems kind of thin to support the weight. Does anyone have any ideas, or am I just overly concerned? The MAXX is going to be used as a basher. Thanks!
