I did go with the traxxas front rustler hexes. Had to swap out the pins with traxxas pins cause the ofna ones where to long.
The only problem i had was the axle on the traxxas car is a bit thicker than the stock crt.5 axle. so there is some play in there.
And after putting the front wheels which have a deeper offset and the hexes i only get about 1 1/2 to 2 turns on the wheel nuts so i might go back to the ofna hexes to see where it lands me. As i dont like not having threads into the nylon part of the wheel nut. |
Use the Losi 12MM hexes from part number LOSA3260. They are only .175" thick compared to .235" for the Traxxas hexes. Plus they will fit the axle better because they are designed for that size axle.
