not the best idea.
walmart is not stupid anymore and checks the serial numbers.
if you swap the motherboard you will make it obvious that you voided the warranty once they take off the face plate
i repair broken 360s so i know how to make everything look legit and even with everything i know they still were not dumb enough to fall for it.
maybe the walmart where you live has not gotten smart yet or has lazy customer service who doesnt do that great of a job but im just warning you.
if you have warranty then send it in
edit--- if you dont have warranty then its actually an easy to fix to get rid of the E-74 error
