Deciding on new motors for my truggy. - 11.10.2009, 11:55 AM

I was running the MMM 2200 combo on my 8ightT with great success. It was very consistent low temps and made me very happy. But since I have sold the 8t and bought a Xray xt8. Only reason was b/c my buddy wanted a truggy and I have a buy/sell addiction. I have a new 8ight buggy with the 44mm mount tekno kit on the way. So I was thinking of running the MMM 2200 kv set-up in the buggy and buying a used Neu 1515 2.5D Smooth Brushless Motor and MMM for the truggy.

Now the Neu should be more efficient with lower temps on 5s and 6s with higher torque correct??

I know the 2200 is not ideal for buggy but I am no racer by any means. I may go to the track every once and a while and that is just for fun.

The neu is a good deal but maybe I should just get the MMM 2650kv for the buggy and call it a day. I dunno....never owned a neu. I havent brought myself to pay thier prices.
