Not sure what to do... - 11.11.2009, 02:42 PM

Heya,

I'm really confused about what I should do. I'm looking to buy a truggy/buggy to bash with on 6s lipo, with the MMM 2200 combo in it.

The HPI Vorza Flux (http://www.hpieurope.com/kit-info.ph...103421&lang=en) looks really good and it's based of the D8, but it's pretty expensive, at around £550. But since it's HPI, I know it will be tough and parts will not be too hard to get for it. But as it's only just come out I don't really know anything about it.

I've been looking around for truggy rollers, and I found a good condition Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium 2 Pro (http://www.hbeurope.com/kit.php?partNo=66862&lang=en) for £100. Adding the MMM combo would bring it to £300, but I don't know how, or even if it is possible to convert this truggy to electric. I haven't heard anything about it, and I don't know how easy it would be to get parts for it here in the UK.

I was looking at the Ofna Hyper 9e, and the Team Associated RC8e, but the battery tray on both of them are too small (my lipo's are 160mm long).

I just bash and I do a lot of speed runs. I'm a bit of a speed freak, and I'd like to be able to gear for 70+mph. It's a little strange that on the HPI Vorza website, it says this speed is only achievable using the 2650kv motor - I would have thought a higher gearing with the 2200kv motor could achieve this in a small buggy, we've all seen what it can do in a Savage/E-Revo.

Anyway, sorry for the long post but any help is GREATLY appreciated. I really wanna buy a truggy/buggy within the next couple of weeks idealy.

Cheers!
