If the LMT only has a 5mm shaft I would go with the Neu instead, and the 4 pole rotor should help it to produce more torque. I would personally go with the 2215 2.5Y on 10-12s lipo.
Neu 22xx motors are rated to handle 40,000 RPM, but if you are running enough voltage to get that kind of RPM out of them I would suggest dropping the KV so you run fewer amps. A 2215 should be able to handle 2,500 - 3,000 watts without a problem. RC Cars are more about bursts than continuous, so 5,000 to 6,000 watts burst wouldn't surprise me.
Castle Creations is working on a new ICE controller that will handle up to 12S (100A, I believe) so that should handle the 2215 fine as long as you run plenty of voltage with a lower KV.
