I have that chassis for the original Emaxx as well and it kills the "Monster Truck" appeal of the Emaxx. There some body clearance issues as well, however, the newer Emaxx motors sit lower, so it shouldn't be as big of a problem.
Also note that the kick-up angle in the front is corrected when you tighten down the screws. Yes, the front of the chassis bends upwards once you have everything tightened down, but it looks fine. I kept waiting for a cracking noise, but it held up.
Honestly, I would only get this chassis if you are interested in making an Emaxx Truggy, Rally or some kind of Frankenstein 4WD SC truck. That has been my intention, but I have never finished.
