At the ISC event I saw Nic Case hit 129 mph on 3s with a neu motor and a castle mmm in a pretty much stock 10th scale car. He told me to use 3 volt per cell when using brians calculator because of resistance and other losses. I believe His method is pretty acurate. I am finding out for speed runs that bigger motor is not always better. With a 15151.5d 2700 kv I had too much power and had issues with traction when I was on it. Nic said he couldnt believe I was running that big of a motor. He said I was probably putting out more than 5hp. BTW I burnt up 2 mmm esc's and had one faulty one. Expensive venture but I had fun doing it.
