But what is thé difference between these 2 ESC's?
They both can handle 6s lipo and outside the fact they have different measurements and their specsheats say for what scale they
should be used, it seems that you can easily use the Pro on a 1/8 car, no? and thus making the Monster Mamba obsolete?...
So what's the catch?

Considering the mamba pro can handle up to 6s lipo, can it also output enough power for an 8th scale buggy or truggy with motors of 2200kv and higher? I'm thinking it can, but the castle site says its for "10th scale" can someone clarify please!? Would love to replace the MMM with the Pro because its alot smaller and will help lighten up the chassis, also make it easier to mount it. "

The Mamba Max Pro was designed for 10th scale use. However, it is being tested with some "light weight" buggies using 5 cells. Use in 8th scale vehicles is not supported by Castle however. They suggest using the Monster Max for that purpose"
