Shock-tastic update:
Interesting comparison to the stock shocks- slightly longer body & overall length, but about the same diameter; the stockers have a longer spring though, and if Im not mistaken they feel slightly stiffer than the springs on the Ofna 9.5pro (#40052) shocks. I may experiment with swapping the springs over to see if they work better once the truck is up and running, as I prefer stiffer suspension- kinda need it on the solid axle rigs like this to keep the wheels planted and prevent the blasted thing from keeling over to one side under power.
Just waiting for my M.I.A. axle guards to turn up then I can start playing with the ride height and what not, then next month order the tranny, lipos and servo etc.
