Say 1515,the first 15 is the can dia.(w/o fins), not rotor dia. for instance the Neu 15 series has a dia. of 1.53"(39mm). the latter 15 is the rotor magnetic length.

Correct. The endcap is about 0.2mm smaller than the can. With fins added the can gets 1.8mm larger, thats exactly 55.6mm shown on Castle website. It's def a 2025.
I was trying to figure out if my KB45 watercooling jackets fit the 1717 and found this on CC website.
