if i were you i would run the single speed, all i know is the hard shifting lst transmission destroys rear diffs if you are useing a big motor on 6 cell
i watched mikey84 go threw 6 properly shimmed diffs this year (sure he could of adjusted the slipper alittle but he doesnt listen and he's bigger than me!

)
