The rocker is basically a lever/fulcrum. On one side (suspension arm/wheel) the range of motion is greater, and less force is applied to move through that range. On the other side (shock side) the range of motion is much less, but that force is concentrated more. It's just converting low force, high motion to high force, low motion. All it means is that the springs need to be stiffer and shock bodies/shafts need to be shorter than if you were using the same shock in a normal setup. I suppose the shock would need to be a bit tougher, but it's more the springs. The Revo shocks were built to be used this way, and the springs are made to handle the stronger force, so you'll be fine.
