The Emaxx is more of an MT, but the Erevo is still an MT too, but a more capable basher and racer at the same time.
$1200 is a ripoff though, you'd be better off looking for a tricked-out Emaxx roller on ebay & just dropping an MMM system into it with a couple good 2s lipos.

+1 no Neil. I've broken all those parts except diffs(slipper clutch instead), and more to add:
shocks
tires glue
steering bellcrank
arm hinge pins
push rod end threads
pivot dust covers
body posts
slipper clutch
drive shaft yokes
body
....
....
Finally ended up with replacing all broken parts and sell.
