What kind of paddle tires do you run in the sand? I'm thinking of getting a pair for snow and sand.
I dont use paddles. Tried them once, and spent most of the time on my lid - couldn't keep the front end down.

That "dirt" they put on the roads is actually a mixture of sand and salt. They'd use the liquid deicer out there, but it gets too cold - it looses its ability to deice at about 15 degrees or so. I think they are starting to put down Magnesium Chloride prior to storms hitting though - I read about it last year in the Gazette. Its just a liquid form of salt that keeps ice/snow from sticking to the road.

You know your in MT in the winter when the back of your vehicle is dark brown, and the front is white from the paint being chipped away by the sand!
One year my step daughter asked me why all the trucks in Montana were the same color!!!
