hey J
Your lst2E is looking good, a little to clean, get that thing dirty. haha
As far as protecting your lipo, just build a new top plate with sides that go all the way down to cover and protect the sides of the lipo.
As far as roll cages go, I think we all (meaning rcmonster family) needs to tell RC Solutions to build a cage to fit the new XXL and to gear it towards the brushless crowd. Its not like the nitro version goes fast enough to need a cage anyways right?
I have thought about buying the regular LST2 roll cage and cutting it apart and then tig weld in a section to make it long enough to fit the longer chassis of the XXL kit. We have at least 3.5 more months of snow here in michigan so that should be enough time to get it made.
I would lose the heatsinks too, I don't think you will need them at all. I have a smooth can 1515 2.5d on one of my lst2-e and it runs cool geared for 50mph.
BTW thats a sharp looking e-revo you have!!!!! I bet its fast.
