the weather here in Virginia kinda sucks right now. snow, rain, mud....even the streets are shitty. they're covered with sand from the salt trucks melting the snow and i'm having a hard getting anything but my GorillaMaxx to hook up well.
i was looking to get a truggy so i could run at a higher speed offroad, but all the ebay 8ight-T rollers are selling for quite a bit on ebay. Bored outta my mind, i went to my lhs and picked up some 30mm wheel adapters.
they didn't fit the 8ight axles because the lip was about 1mm too long on the adapter, so i had to grind a little off so it wouldn't bind after i tightened the axle pin.
after that, i added the phaltliners, and raised the 8ight buggy wing to the next 2 holes up on the shocktower, and now i have a truggy of sorts.
i know it's not as long as an 8ight-t, but it's the size of my G-Maxx....in length and width.
anyway, i just thought i'd share that with any of you buggy owners that want a little more ride height.
Enjoy!
