I balance all my tires also, I found the lead weights work very well and I secure them w/Med CA and accelerator.
Heres the balancer I have, zero set up needed. It's for 17mm hubbed rims but I can also do all my 23mm rims. I do this by adding some 1/4" tape around the hub to bulk it up for the 23mm rims .
