I had a shifter cart many years ago and had a real bad wreck w/3 other carts and rolled it once. I was very lucky with only some bad bruises and broke my left hand and wrist.
Other than my hand, my body hurt for weeks. It's only the sudden stops that hurt, LOL

Those were the good days for me
. I got thrown out of my kart a few time, rolled a few times and almost broke my neck. Every time I got into my kart, I instantly got in the zone. It was an awesome feeling. Last time that happened was when I was 1 sec. off the indoor track record in Florida. The official record though was set by a kart racer with his own kart lol. The track owner invited me to go there a few more times, but I didn't. Being out of shape to drive a kart sucks
