It fits, but the 6mm shaft will cause pinion issues. Good try Harold, better luck next time. Good thing you are not the "oracle" of brushless, newbs everywhere would be screwed...

I will say the 1521 1y does great on 6s. So the 1520 cc motor should be fine. I ran a cc 2200 on 5s with truggy size tires and it did very well too. But if you plan to run bigger/heavier tires go with the 1520. 1600kv on 6s seems to be the ticket as it falls nicely with the 63/25 gearing that fits the tdr mount, and available setscrew pinions. |
What gearing are you going to run with that 1717? It's hard to get good gearing because it is too fat. That's what I meant. Duhhh
