I think if he moves the mount more forward he wont have to cut anything . Hell have a lower cog and more weight up front which I found to be more desirable when running a cd to keep the front tires from unloadind from brushless power. Or even running a spool to help keep the front down. TNot to mention a better drivline angle. The savage xl bone is definatly longer than the UE bone I just wonder if it will work with a standard 57.5mm t-maxx bone.
