telemetry IMO is only needed for nitro racers.
i have a DX3S and have used the telemetry on both my nitro buggy that i raced, and the E-revo.
pretty much useless on the revo besides a speed guage which is cool (temps once geared properly are fine)

but nitro on the other hand (dont worry ive sold it now hehe)
well the timer is awesome so you know when your next pit stop is coming up, temp is handy for tune and RX pack voltage is awesome!!

but on a 5B...well...ive NEVER known a zenoah engine to overheat and dont them suckers get like 20 min runtime? and a 8000mah 2s lipo for an all day RX pack would be easy to make. rendering the spektrum DX3s pretty useless.
i'd go for a normal DX2.0 then convert it to a DX3.0 with the resister mod. leave it at that. IMO

IMO E-revo 3.3 conversion, 249kv outrunner, 6s, MMM the porthole from the noob world an here has been opened!! that's how i got in.
