From what I have seen, placing bigger orders doesn't drop the shipping cost per pc very much. I've played with the shopping cart quite a bit to see how it works out. Then figure the extra shipping cost to the others here, once the order arrives, and it's going to be a net loss for everyone involved, imo. Or at the very least, you will save a few pennies. If you partner up with a local guy, then it makes sense... especially if one of you just wants a $2 item or something.

The LHS orders a lot from HC and they just order whatever it is they want, and then fill up every last gram in that shipping rate "window", with whatever little stuff will fit. That's the thing to do... just get what you want, and eat the shipping. It's part of the cost of ordering anything from overseas, not just from HC.
