The benefit is more travel. You want to increase the travel (in front) but you don't want to raise the ride height, so you need to increase the up-travel. The stock Jammin SCRT10 front shocks are really short and don't have enough travel. If you use the rear shocks in front (or any longer shock) you can gain some up travel. To use longer shocks you need the extended shock tower. Just don't get carried away with the front up travel as too much and your CVD's will bind under full compression. Use the SNR tower and stock Jammin rear shocks and you won't have any issues.
