The motor wasnt running hot with the high gearing. Why would it fry with lower gearing? (Thats less strain on the motor) so it should run cooler... shouldnt it?? Now you got me confused

@Finnster Maybe... but my pinion gears are aluminum. I think it just got too hot and melted... The one I'm using Sunday is steele but so is my spur gear. I just hope steele on steele doesnt create a whole new problem....
